Our Story
Three Generations of Sod Farming
Red Desert Sod has been providing the best quality sod in Utah for three generations. Grandpa Warren started the original farm in Richfield, Utah in 1978. The St. George location opened in 2009.
Jay moved here and restructured the operation as Red Desert Sod to share our late Grandpa's legacy with Southern Utah. Today, we remain the only sod farm in Utah growing grass in coveted sandy soil with ideal water conditions near Sand Hollow.
